Culinary Grade
• Color: Dull green or olive green

Each matcha grade has unique qualities that make it suitable for specific uses, with color being a good indicator of overall quality and flavor profile. We sell culinary grade ORGANIC matcha.
Can Culinary Matcha be made into Tea?
Matcha is the tea powder made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, as all true teas are. These leaves are specially grown, in gradual darkness to they produce a very specific flavor and color, which is what gives Matcha its signature taste. Matcha leaves are grown in very specific conditions, then after picking are steamed to preserve color and nutrients. They are then deveined and the stems are removed, and finally dried. The dried leaves are then ground into a very fine, talc-like powder.
Matcha green tea is best source of natural epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG).
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is a unique plant compound that gets a lot of attention for its potential positive impact on health.
It’s thought to reduce inflammation, aid weight loss, and help prevent heart and brain disease
Matcha is rich in polyphenols like the catechin EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) which is thought to confer anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and metabolic benefits.
🍵 Weight Loss Aid
Increases metabolism and helps the body burn fat about FOUR times faster than most other weight loss aids but without the unsavory effects(heart rate and high blood pressure)
🍵Anti-aging
Just one bowl of matcha provides over 5 times as many antioxidants as any other food – the highest rated by the ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity)
🍵Anti-oxidant per excellence
Matcha tea contains catechins which are the most potent and beneficial antioxidants; (EGCg) makes up 60% of the catechins in Matcha Green Tea; is most widely recognized for its cancer fighting properties. Scientists have found that Matcha Green Tea contains over 100 times more EGCg than any other tea on the market
🍵Mood and Memory Boost
Matcha tea has L-Theanine which produces dopamine and serotonin to enhance mood, improve memory, promotes better concentration.
Unlike coffee, matcha provides a less jittery pick-me-up. This is due to matcha's high concentration of flavonoids and L-theanine, which increases the brain's alpha frequency band and produces relaxing effects by raising serotonin, GABA, and dopamine levels
🍵Energy
The Samurai(the warriors of medieval and early-modern Japan) drank Matcha Green Tea before going into battle due to the tea’s energizing properties. While all green tea naturally contains caffeine, the energy boost received from Matcha can last up to 6 hours but without the usual side-effects of stimulants such as nervousness and hypertension. It’s good, clean energy
🍵Detoxifier
Matcha is also a powerful detoxifier capable of naturally removing heavy metals and chemical toxins from the body
Matcha is categorized into different grades based on quality, flavor, and intended use. The color can vary significantly between grades, with higher grades typically displaying a more vibrant green hue due to the higher concentration of chlorophyll. Here are the main grades of matcha with typical color descriptions:
1. Ceremonial
⚠️ Warning
If you sensitive to caffeine- you can take matcha with Reishi (Ganoderma) Mushrooms. Matcha green tea powder and reishi mushroom are two of nature’s finest and most potent superfoods. The combination of L-theanine, catechins, caffeine from the matcha plus the polysaccharides, mainly βglucans and ganoderic acids from the reishi mushroom, enhance concentration, calm the mind, boost the immune system and slow the aging process.
