Widows: A Cause Close to Our Heart:
Seventy percent of Nigerian widows face immense challenges after losing their breadwinners. Many endure economic insecurity, discrimination, stigmatization, and harmful traditional practices, often without support from society.
At The Health Place, we are committed to making a difference. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we have established a trust fund to support families affected by communal clashes in Southern Kaduna and neighboring areas.
Since our inception, we have provided food and clothing to over 1,500 widows through our annual CSR initiatives.
Our mission is to not only provide immediate relief but to also bring hope, dignity, and empowerment to widows and their families. Together, we can create a more compassionate and supportive society.
Education for All: Our Partnership with KNOSK N100-a-day School
At The Health Place, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education. To support this mission, we have partnered with KNOSK N100-a-day School, Kuje, through monetary donations to purchase books.
These books are donated to disadvantaged schools in Southern Kaduna, where resources are extremely limited, ensuring that pupils have access to the learning materials they need to succeed.
Through this initiative, we aim to empower children with knowledge and create opportunities for a brighter future. Together, we can make education accessible to all..
